The manager of the company is an essential figure, having an important role of creating and also achieving the vision of the company. The layout of the executive office, chosen furniture, the materials they are made of and colours as well as interior details allow us to get to know not only the company but the manager as well. NORTH CAPE executive chairs are characterised by exclusive sophistication and modern elegance. These chairs are for the leader that has a sense of style and cares about the aesthetic of his workplace. Creating the manager’s office using these chairs, you will ensure not only a stylish workplace but also comfort.

Inspired by the hills of Tuscany

Upon the request from NARBUTAS, NORTH CAPE chairs were created by the Italian design studio „Baldanzi & Novelli designers“. It was our first mutual project, which later on grew to long-lasting partnership. The aim of the project was to create a chair, having an exceptional identity, which would combine and reveal Italian and Lithuanian styles.The first sketches were made in the region of Tuscany (Italy), when the hilly landscape was whitened by harsh winter weather. Winter is a season when two distant countries become similar. These sketches revealed one common feature of the two cultures, which is simplicity.

The beauty of the design lies in simplicity

According to Adriano Baldanzi, simple shapes of NORTH CAPE chairs remind calmly sleeping Tuscan hills in winter, and design ideas are rational, just like people from the northern regions. NORTH CAPE design is a combination of simple but at the same time strict lines and soft curves. Rectangular armrests made of polyurethane fit the backrest harmoniously. Unique, laconic curve of the backrest fluently going down to the line of the seating part, creates a subtle silhouette of the chair, which has already become the identity of this chair.

Undeniable sense of executive level

Developing the latest model from a family of NORTH CAPE chairs, especially a lot of attention was paid to the softness of the chair in order to make it paticularly comfortable. Exclusive design is emphasised by the fabric with horizontal stitching lines that create an elegant pattern for the executive chair, which highlights the sense of executive level even more. The curves and shapes of backrest and seating part coincide with the ones of other NORTH CAPE chairs, which gives a possibility to create fine combinations with other chairs from the collection and preserve unique stylistics in the office. More comfort- We all understand comfort differently. Ordering a seat cushion additionally, you will make your NORTH CAPE chair even softer. Besides, a seat cushion can also function as an exclusive accent of colour. It is easy to remove the cover of the cushion, thus you will be able to clean the cover if needed or change it into a new one.

Depending on the model of a chosen chair, materials and colours, the manager‘s workspace can be stylish and sophisticated, or minimalist, easily blending in with various different scenarios for offices and preserving unity with task and conference chairs. In order to accomplish desired style for the executive office, you can choose from 2 models: laconic, simple but elegant design or much more sophisticated silhouette with a bigger backrest, softer seating pad and unique pattern of horizontal stitching lines. You can choose from 2 different types of armrests for the polyurethane unit of the backrest and the seating part. Both of these armrests are created specially for the family of NORTH CAPE chairs. Rectangular armrests made of polyurethane create cosiness, visual grace, while plastic armrests will give a more open and minimalist appearance for the chair. It is also possible to choose from 2 different bases: polished aluminium or plastic.

Ensured comfort

Functional NORTH CAPE task chairs can be perfectly used not only in the working areas, but also in meeting rooms, where long and exhausting meetings are taking place. With the help of knee-tilt mechanism in task chairs you will be able to control stiffness of the backrest according to your needs. You will also be able to lock the backrest in 4 comfortable positions. Moreover, because of the swinging mechanism you can avoid staying in the same position for too long. The base of the chair has castors which help easily move in the room.

Knee-tilt mechanism with centered axis

The backrest and the seating part are joined together. When you lean back, the whole chair tilts. This mechanism allows you to lean back without lifting your feet from the ground, thus no pressure is put on your calves. Tilting mechanism has a function of returning automatically to the initial position and 4 locking positions.
